<— Return to Appendix

This is how we handled “ghost” in this revision.

The word “Ghost” was used by KJV eleven (11) times in the so-called OT. It was used nine (9) times for the Hebrew גוע gawa’ a verb and an ancient euphemism KJV translated as “gave up the ghost.” Twice KJV used “ghost” for נֶפֶשׁ nefesh once in Job 11:20 and once Jeremiah 15:9.
