Paul’s second letter was written to refresh their faith in the resurrection of Yahshua of Nazareth and to dispel a notable ambiguity about the proximity of the Messiah’s Universal Revelation at the End of this present Age of Grace. Timothy was encouraged by Paul to study rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15), Prove all things, hold fast to that which is good. Be not slothful in the affairs of day-to-day living, but be productive members of society, and pay one’s financial responsibilities.
